hints of spring décor

It's now officially spring, and Easter is in just a few weeks—so despite veering from blizzards and mounds of snow to 60s here in Wisconsin (a typical spring!), it’s time to think spring décor.
A few weeks ago, I got antsy and switched out my winter berries for a lighter feel with charming bunnies, birds, speckled eggs, and faux nests. Here are some of my favorite spring décor items.
Faux bird’s nests – I have a nest very similar to these faux bird’s nests, set of two with three eggs. They look realistic and cute to add on any tablescape.
Speckled eggs – These are available in neutral tones or pastels to add to your nests. I bought these in blue and green in a variety of sizes several years ago (at a lower price back then), and here is another version. I also like this natural-looking set in neutrals.
Birds – If you’d like to place a little rustic bird near your nests, this one is somewhat similar to the one I have, but larger. This little white bird is cute and very affordable, and this set of two is at a higher price point.
If you’re looking for a little wall bling, this gold decorative mirror featuring a frame of birds fits the bill.
Bunnies – As you can guess, I prefer my spring bunny décor in a rustic or cottagecore style, not cutesy. I really like this small, inexpensive greenish hued bunny from Creative Co-Op, a favorite brand. This tiny bunny comes in a variety of natural stones. In February, I bought some tiny iridescent bunnies similar to these (but not quite) at Stein’s Garden & Home, but for just a few dollars each, so if you’re local, I’d definitely look there! I don’t see them on the website; they may be sold out. I also bought a beautiful swirled white glass bunny there for just a few dollars, and can’t find anything like it online. Ashley Storied Home offers this small bunny figurine set.
This painted pitcher is perfect, and not just for spring (available at several retailers, but for a higher price). These Storied Home metal rabbit bookends are also cute.
Florals – There are so many florals for spring, I’ll just highlight a few here.
Vases This small and subtle painted pitcher would be at home on any cottagecore spring table; this one is very similar, and several shape variations are available. This one in pink (or greyish?) and green is also pretty.
Table Runners and Napkins I’m choosy about the charm of spring table runners; I avoid cheesy looking ones. But I found a floral embroidered table runner I love. This less expensive vintage look floral runner is also charming in subtle, natural tones, as is this other springy embroidered option featuring lemons and birds. I have this blockprint runner in a mineral greenish blue, and it’s such a nice color for most seasons. I also have this high quality rustic grainsack table runner in gold, a great neutral to counteract spring and summer florals—and I highly recommend this seller.
If pink is more your tone, these Pottery Barn linen napkins are lovely, as are these springy pink blockprint napkins on Etsy. I love these golden daisy napkins from Natural Life. West Elm offers these natural tones green floral Frankie napkins, and pink and green ones featuring bunny silhouettes. I also like this Etsy blockprint and this blockprint, both in a springy green. And this flower garden themed runner from Greenrow is equisite. This lovely lilac embroidered runner and matching napkins offer a grandma chic home vibe.
I often like hemstitched solid color napkins to complement my patterned table runners and tablecloths. These are a great option in a few colors, as well as these, and this lovely West Elm flax linen option comes in several light colors is as well. These affordable chambray napkins come in a large palette of colors.
If your palette is more dark academia, this Laney pattern works while still offering a spring feel. I like this more neutral Posey option as well for any time of year, and this blue Pivione Fleurs option from Magnolia.
Faux Flowers Faux tulips are great for spring vases and of course, last and last from February on. I purchased these pink tulips and creamy white tulips last year. They both look extremely real and I expect them to last for many years. Just look carefully before purchasing faux tulips; some are higher quality and look more real than others. The best are slightly dual tones like these peachy tulips or pink tulips. Get $8.00 off by clicking coupon box.
Faux daffodils also offer a homey look. I like this option and this one. These pink delphiniums are also lovely, and available in a few colors. And I have this pretty pink pip garland on my mantel. It's also available in other colors. Here's another option in blues and greens at a slightly lower price.
I brought home a tiny pot of faux grape hyacinths and larkspur in pots in February from Stein’s, and they’re so real looking, my son assumed they were. Those appear to no longer be available, but is option is similar if you wish to use your own pot.
Wreaths I prefer springy wreaths that are not Easter-themed, so they can serve on my door from spring through summer—like this natural-looking lavender wreath. Here’s another option with more purple. Currently 27% off.
This wreath with blue and white berries features a fresh combination I haven’t seen before. This floral wreath offers a little more color, with pinks and yellows added in. Currently 13% off.
Tea Towels If you’re looking to add a little spring to your kitchen, Rifle Paper Co. offers this lovely hydrangea tea towel in a subtle light blue. I also love the homespun look of the Magnolia bluebonnet tea towel and larkspur tea towel, as well as Jo’s wildflower towel. And this low-cost floral towel option is adorable. For a boho look, this highly-rated option is groovy. Currently 8% off.
I love blockprint; this blue and green towel is fresh for spring. And this lemon and hummingbird pattern seems springy to me; I have it in a table runner I use in spring and summer.
Spring's a thing! But it can be fleeting. I hope you enjoy it.
